Wanderers & Krpic part ways as Wenzel-Halls bids farewell to champions

A pair of A-Leagues strikers are on the move, with Western Sydney Wanderers and Western United both agreeing to the mutual termination of Sulejman Krpic and Dylan Wenzel-Halls’ respective contracts.

Krpic, 32, scored just two goals in 13 appearances for the Wanderers after arriving in the off-season.

A statement from the club, released on Sunday afternoon, confirmed Krpic’s intent to pursue a new opportunity overseas.

Krpic’s Wanderers departure comes as Dylan Wenzel-Halls bids farewell to Western United, making 34 league appearances for the club and contributing to the inaugural title-winning campaign of the reigning champions.

The 25-year-old has 101 Isuzu UTE A-League appearances to his name accumulated across stints at Brisbane Roar and Western.
