For the second month in a row, Brisbane Roar boss Robbie Fowler has been named the Hyundai A-League coach of the Month.
Fowler took the honours for February after Roar went unbeaten for the month to cement themselves inside the top six.
Roar’s near-perfect month started on February 8 as his side defeated Adelaide United 2-1, before a vital away win over top six rivals Western United FC 1-0 on February 16.
Wellington Phoenix striker David Ball took out Player of the Month honours.
In their final match of the month, a late goal from defender Macauley Gillesphey salvaged a 1-1 draw against reigning Premiers Perth Glory as Roar’s finals credentials were enhanced.
Up against Wellington Phoenix boss Ufuk Talay and interim Western Sydney Wanderers coach Jean-Paul de Marigny, Fowler was a clear winner.
