It’s the trademark catchphrase of Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, renowned worldwide as one of the most reliable sources when it comes to transfer market intel.
And on Friday night (AEDT), Romano put the Isuzu UTE A-League in the spotlight when he took to social media to share the latest on Adelaide United teenager Nestory Irankunda with his 19.1 million followers on Twitter.
Romano reports Bayern are “closing in” on a deal worth nearly $6 million AUD plus add-ons for the 17-year-old.
News of Bayern’s apparent interest in Irankunda was first broken by Network 10 commentator Andy Harper in April; Irankunda is unable to move internationally before his 18th birthday in February 2024.
