Oliver Bozanic – Western Sydney Wanderers

  • Price: $364K
  • Ownership: 2%
  • Average points: 8.8

Three consecutive starts and goals in back-to-back games has Oliver Bozanic in firing form after an injury-interrupted start to the season.

The Wanderers ran rampant against Macarthur FC in Round 10, with Bozanic at the heart of a destructive display. His left-footed strike from the edge of the box in the first half showed the touch and control of a player back in his rhythm.

Mathew Leckie – Melbourne City

  • Price: $382K
    Ownership: 5%
  • Average points: 9.1

Mathew Leckie broke a three-game goalless streak with a well-taken header off Marco Tilio’s assist in Melbourne City’s 3-1 win over Wellington Phoenix in Round 10. Jamie Maclaren is scoring goals for fun – but at $605K price tag puts him out of reach of those who didn’t bring the City spearhead into their squads early in the season.

Leckie offers a $382K avenue into the City attack.

Jason Cummings – Central Coast Mariners

  • Price: $374K
  • Ownership: 27%
  • Average points: 9.1

Fresh off a Round 10 brace, Jason Cummings has settled back into life in the A-League Men after the Men’s World Cup, and now shifts his focus to continuing his charge toward the top of the scoring charts.

Cummings is second on the Golden Boot standings on six goals, trailing only Maclaren on 12. With Garang Kuol off to the Premier League and Newcastle United, both Cummings and strike partner Marco Tulio will need to shoulder the bulk of the attacking load to keep the Mariners up near the top of the A-League Men table.

Matt Millar – Macarthur FC

  • Price: $350K
  • Ownership: 8%
  • Average points: 7.3

Matt Millar went from the high of a 22-point haul in Round 9 to the low of a -4 in a hefty defeat to Western Sydney Wanderers last time out – but expect the Bulls full-back to return to the sort of form which has seen his price rise by more than $150K since Round 1 when his side take on Newcastle on Sunday afternoon.

Millar is the 10th-highest defensive scorer (73 points) across 10 games to start the season, providing goals and assists to Macarthur’s cause since his off-season arrival. Both he and the Bulls come up against a Newcastle side which has scored just one goal in four games on Sunday afternoon.

Kusini Yengi – Western Sydney Wanderers

  • Price: $257k
  • Ownership: 5%
  • Average points: 7.5

Kusini Yengi is back in the mix for Western Sydney, returning to action after a three-game absence with a dominant display agaisnt Macarthur in Round 10.

Yengi provided two assists in a 4-0 win over the Bulls, proving a dangerous attacking asset combining with Bozanic, Yeni Ngbakoto and Brandon Borrello in the final third for Western Sydney; speed, physicality an a sharp touch make Yengi a problem for defenders around the A-League Men. This weekend it’s bottom-placed Perth Glory’s turn to try and keep the young forward subdued.
