Social media explodes after Garang Kuol masterclass

It’s become abundantly clear in Garang Kuol’s brief and brilliant stint in the Isuzu UTE A-League that the young Mariners star is ready to take on the world.

His explosive cameo off the bench against Macarthur FC on Sunday afternoon produced two goals off five shots, with his second his best strike to date in the A-League Men.

In 10 days, the Mariners teen will be pushing to not only receive minutes for the Socceroos against France at the FIFA Men’s World Cup in Qatar – but to make an impact.

Watch the composure, and the ingenuity of his finish past Bulls keeper Nick Suman in his side’s 3-2 loss in Gosford, and try and find an argument to suggest he’s not ready to do so.

A gathering social media storm exploded in the aftermath of his two-goal blitz off the bench as the A-Leagues star bound for the Premier League and Newcastle United saved his best Mariners performance until the eve of the World Cup.
