Aston Villa and Leeds visiting QLD to face Brisbane Roar

Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Leeds United will travel to Queensland in July to feature in the Queensland Champions Cup alongside Isuzu UTE A-League club Brisbane Roar.

There will be fixtures across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Townsville, with Leeds and the Roar kicking off the tournament at CBUS Super Stadium on July 14.

Villa and Leeds will go head-to-head at Suncorp Stadium on July 17 before the Roar face Steven Gerrard’s Villa three days later at QLD Country Bank Stadium on July 20.

Tickets will go on sale via www.ticketek.com.au on Friday, from 1pm AEST.

It’s shaping up as a massive year for football fans in Australia, with LaLiga powerhouse Barcelona, Premier League giants Manchester United and Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic all set to tour Down Under in 2022, along with South American rivals Argentina and Brazil.
