The postponed Isuzu UTE A-League opening-round showdown between Central Coast Mariners and rivals Newcastle Jets will now be played on Wednesday, December 21 later this year.
Last week’s F3 Derby was washed out due to excessive rain on the Central Coast, where the surface was deemed unfit for play.

But the A-Leagues confirmed a new date for the F3 Derby at Central Coast Stadium, with the midweek fixture scheduled to kick-off at 7.00pm AEDT.
It will come 10 days after the Mariners and Jets do battle at the same venue on 3.00pm (AEDT) Sunday, December 11.
After the false start over the weekend, the Jets will get their season underway at home to Perth Glory on Saturday, while the Mariners are away to Wellington Phoenix on Sunday.
